Unlike many Christian books, which either generally confirm what you already believe or are completely in a different camp, Boa recognizes the richness of Christian tradition and how it influences our spirituality.
Every christian should read this book. The answers to many questions are here. It means that there is a lot within its nearly pages. With a Christ-centered and eternal perspective, we are motivated by our a fear and respect of God, love for God, love of others, eternal rewards, identity, purpose, and longing. I would try to get into some of the things that stood out to me most in this book, but that would take too long. This should be a seminary text The world tells us that what we achieve and accomplish determines who we are, but the Scriptures teach that who we are in Christ should be the basis for what we do.
Love Gratitude and Rewards. Lewis and Francis Schaefer sp? Hus section talks about becoming faithful to imag process of life rather than living from one product to the next. This is a good resource on Spiritual Formation and Spiritual Disciplines.
