I feel so empowered, like I can actually make the millions of changes in my life that I want and need to make. Recently, I ran across the book again and decided to give it another look. Great concept but the book wandered all over the map touching lightly on many topics. In practicing kaizen you begin by making tiny but regular steps toward a goal so that you can circumvent whatever fear, inertia, etc. Won’t have much added value for the people who are familiar with the basics of this technique. Hundreds of examples of Kaizen at work grace the book, as well as quotes from W. Like many self-help books based on a gimmick, the evidence presented as proof is either not cited or questionable as it concerns its relevancy. A good, quick ready. Not original but a good reminder and pep talk about putting this into practice.
This diminishes the quality of the audio book. This book is a short sum up. And apparently I’ve been using a bit of a modified Kaizen method while reorganizing and it’s been helpful. The writing isn’t special.

It is better to spend two minutes every day on improving something than trying to motivate yourself to spend 30 minutes a week for a bigger goal.

The way he butchers these popular studies into anectotes to fit the point he is trying to make is far from scientific. The Kaizen Way is a nice little book.

This works if it’s about you as much it’s about a group of people in a business. The author likes to pat himself on the back a lot there is a lot of mention of Christmas cards he receives from past patients and mistakes multi-million dollar corporations have made that could have been avoided if they had only listened to him which can be kind of irritating, and there were parts that I thought that the writing w I actually really enjoyed this book, although I don’t generally read self-help books I didn’t have any trouble getting through it.
