The Bloodlands were literally the lands between Hitler and Stalin and as such the most violence occurred in a struggle for supremacy over and within those lands. I have to say, this is one of the best books I’ve read in quite some time, and the fact it covers a subject I’ve avoided gloodlands opened my mind to wanting to learn more.
